From cutting-edge cybersecurity to leadership in AI and defense, ESEO alumni continue to stand out as changemakers in today’s tech-driven world. Whether speaking at major conferences, leading strategic innovation, or shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure, their achievements reflect both individual excellence and the strong engineering culture fostered at ESEO.
Mikaël VAN CRAEYNEST (ESEO 2004), software architect at MipihSIB, was one of the speakers at the Devoxx France 2025 edition. His talk, presented in front of nearly 400 attendees, focused on identity management and securing applications using the open-source authentication software Keycloak. This tool is used in our innovative identity management component, CERBERE, as well as in our Decision-Making Platform. His talk is available to watch on replay here. Mikaël also participated in the #404CTF, one of France’s largest cybersecurity competitions, where he ranked 46th out of more than 3,000 participants.
Dr. Chaouki KASMI (ESEO 2009) , Chief Innovation Officer at EDGE and Forbes Technology Council member, celebrated a key milestone for the Electro-Optic Centre of Excellence (EOCE), aligning operations with end-user needs. He congratulated EDGE and Thales on the achievement. At the Paris Airshow 2025, EDGE and Thales signed an MoU to localise maintenance of Thales' electro-optic systems used by the UAE Armed Forces. The partnership supports EDGE’s goal to strengthen defense capabilities and localise technologies through sustainable, in-country solutions.
Anne-Laure LE DAMANY (ESEO 2003), Société Générale Deputy Global CISO & Head of ITRM at Société Générale, was the guest on the 20th episode of Prod'Way. She shares her powerful insights on cybersecurity, IT crisis management, and how female leadership is shaping the future of tech. With a mix of expertise and conviction, she dives into the key challenges of protecting the banking sector in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment—while keeping innovation at the core.
Alexis BONAMY GRÉAU (ESEO 2024), Software and Monitoring Engineer at Guinault, attended his final Junior-Enterprise National Congress (CN25) in Angers, where he had recently graduated. He co-led several workshops, including a JE-themed game, a team simulation, and a Braille awareness session. He was awarded for delivering the most training sessions over the past year—closing his JE journey on a high note.
