This month, we highlight ESEO alumni who are actively shaping some of today’s most critical technological transformations. From AI-powered user experiences and cybersecurity challenges to MedTech innovation and the future of clean energy, these graduates are tackling complex issues with real-world impact. Their journeys reflect a common thread: using engineering expertise to build meaningful, forward-looking solutions.
Adrien BODY (ESEO 2014), Staff Engineer at SNCF Connect & Tech, recently contributed to the development of a new conversational travel assistant integrated into ChatGPT. This experimental feature allows users to search for train journeys in a more intuitive, dialogue-based way—marking a new step in how digital services can enhance mobility experiences.
Adrien also shared insights on the technical, design, and usage challenges behind these AI-driven interfaces, highlighting ongoing experimentation in a rapidly evolving ecosystem. He presented this work at Devoxx France, reflecting his active role at the forefront of innovation in conversational applications and user experience.
Thibault CARRÉ (ESEO 2011), Director of Cybersecurity at INQUEST, was recently featured on Europe 1 to analyze the large-scale cyberattack targeting the French National Agency for Secure Documents (ANTS).
During the interview, he explained the potential consequences of the breach—affecting up to 19 million individuals—including risks such as targeted phishing, identity theft, and fraudulent account creation. By breaking down complex cybersecurity threats for the general public, Thibault contributes to raising awareness around data protection and the growing challenges of digital security.
Nicolas LEFEBVRE (ESEO 2010), Chairman & CEO of AdEchoTech, recently took part in the TechCare program on the media platform mieux, alongside former French Health Minister Olivier Véran. During the discussion, he emphasized that innovation in healthcare only creates value when it addresses real needs and delivers tangible impact for patients and professionals.
Through AdEchoTech’s MELODY robot, Nicolas continues to advocate for improved access to care, particularly for remote and underserved populations—illustrating how technology can directly support more equitable healthcare systems.
Sam GUILAUME (ESEO 1990), CEO of Renaissance Fusion, was recently featured in Les Affiches de Grenoble et du Dauphiné. In this interview, he highlights the company’s ambition to scale up industrially in the field of nuclear fusion—one of the most promising technologies for future clean energy.
He also calls for stronger structuring of a European and French ecosystem around fusion, underlining the strategic importance of accelerating innovation in this sector. This recognition reflects Sam’s role at the forefront of next-generation energy development.
ESEO is incredibly proud of these alumni and their great accomplishments.
Across AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, and energy, these alumni demonstrate how ESEO graduates are contributing to key technological shifts that impact our daily lives. Whether improving digital experiences, protecting sensitive data, expanding access to care, or advancing next-generation energy solutions, they embody a shared ambition: turning innovation into tangible progress.
